Last month Star plus came up with a new show- Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. With this show Cinevistaas returned to Star Plus after about 6 years, their last run was the very popular Medical drama- Sanjeevani. They had its sequel Dil Mil Gaye on Star One which was also a big hit. So this explains the immense popularity of Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai from its very start.
Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai is a tale of two sisters who are orphan and lives with their Uncle, Aunt, cousin, Grandmother and Great grandmother. Where the elder sister Jeevika is mature and responsible, the younger Manvi is very child like and naughty. Both sisters share a great bonding and ready to do anything for each others happiness.
Then the male leads, Viren and Virat who are brothers enter the story. Viren’s alliance came for Jeevika. Initially Manvi is against this proposal but soon she realizes that Viren is the right guy for her sister so she gives in. In between she had lots of nokjhonk with Viren’s younger brother Virat. In the serial where Viren- Jeevika pair reminds us of Vivaah movie’s- Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao; Virat- Manvi’s pair is like Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit of Hum Apke Hain Kaun. Even in the marriage celebration of Viren and Jeevika’s wedding they use songs (Kal Jisne Janam Yahan Paya, Didi Tera Deewana) from these movies.
Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai has a good casting. Krystle D’souza and Nia Sharma are playing the sisters- Jeevika and Manvi respectively where as Karan Tacker and Kushal Tandon are playing Viren and Virat respectively. The other important cast include: Seema Kapoor, Anju Mahendru, Abhinav Shukla, Indu Verma, Manasvi Vyas, Anupam Bhattacharya, Divyajyotee Sharma, Tarla Joshi, Gaurav Kummar etc.
All in all Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai is a good show to watch which has lots of emotions, teasing, drama and of course romance. So tune in Star Plus at 8-30 P.M. from Monday to Friday to enjoy this show.
